The Order of the Lily and the Eagle
The OL+E since 1915
Introduction
The following document is a historic overview of the OL+E since 1915, as narrated by the General Governor of the Commandery of Attica in 2006. Additional notes have been extracted from notes taken during various conversations with the G.G. from 1993 to 2006.
This document is, of course, given from a particular perspective and so cannot be assumed to be "the truth". Nevertheless, it was recorded and is presented as factually as possible.
In the text below, all the text between curly brackets have been added by the editor.
Splits in the Order
KP: "Can we return to the question of why the Order has collapsed, split and is divided?"
GG: "I came to the following conclusion. We cannot say that the people who took over the Order - those who were in authority - did not devote themselves to the idea; nor can we say that they did not devote and sacrifice their time, money and effort for the promotion of the Order. But in what way?"
{I would add here, GG was not fanatical in stating that Attica's way was or is the 'only' and 'correct' way. His approach to all things was to say "try and see what happens". In other words, make an action and see what 'support' is given. If the 'invisible' supports this or that approach, then you will 'see' what the result will be. I have no doubt that GG received this saying during his time in the Order whilst in Cairo.}
"Those in authority wanted to promote the Order - this sacred establishment - in the same way and manner that they behave in their daily life. That is, promoting relatives - nepotism, having sympathies and antipathies, resorting to the {secular} law, in short, the usual general manner that they are promoting their businesses or how they get on in their jobs."
"In other words, these people are manipulating a 'sacred thing' with their 'dirty hands'."
"Because of that, sooner or later we will get an associated result. In other words, the various collapses, splits and divisions after the death of M.C. Agathos."
{Actually this seems to be the case not only in Greece, but in France prior to the death of M.C. Agathos.}
"So, in Attica, we know we cannot do anything based on wisdom. This is because we have no wisdom. However, it is relatively easier to do something with strict morality {love}. So based on that, I have sent some practical lessons to Attica {the commandery in Athens, or Attica in the East}, which are based on the laws of nature, in order to strengthen the members' in morality."
"Every knight and damsel {lady} must learn by heart the moral and private principles given by Dea and repeat them every day. So, for example we have the first principle to always say the truth. This does not mean to describe one's life accurately, but it means that we say and apply the theorems. That is, the theorems are the truth. The 2nd principle is to never refuse help, protection or charity. 'Never say no' does not mean we deal with each and every case. We have to be reasonable for our own wellbeing. And so on, with the principles. Repetition is the way to obtain strict morality so that the commanders of Attica can have the right direction."
"Now when we talk with others from different formations, Pangrati, Daphni and so on, don't mix up the whole thing."
"These people are simply carrying on with what they have learnt. They have not
had the right education. So, in Daphni, there is no program or direction. When
deciding what will be taught in the colleges in the coming year, it is done in
a random manner. They do whatever comes to mind, they go to the library pick
out a document at random and say,
"In a recent letter to Andrea Prokopiou, GG wrote that
Discussion on Dea and Deon
"Deon was a teacher."
"Dea on the other hand, manifested all the maternal virtues. She was interested in the needy, the situation of women, etc... see the manifesto. In other words, she studied the ILLNESS of MAN."
"But it was not enough to do the diagnosis, Dea went on to find the solution to the problem. In other words, she found the MEDICINE for MAN's ILLNESS, in order to help effectively. In this case, the medicine is the re-education of MAN. It was she who wrote down this MEDICINE - that is, the theorems 1 to 36. Actually Kevin, she also tried the medicine on herself, to be sure that it was working."
"Anyhow, in order that the MEDICINE could be administered to MAN in an effective manner an ORGAN, or a way or a vehicle was required. This was achieved when the Order of the Lily and the Eagle was founded. That is, the OL+E is the organ of her conception."
{To be clear, the OL+E was founded in Cairo by Marie in 1915 with the assistance of the co-founder Dimitri Semelas, and witnessed by three individuals: Antonios Hatziapostolou, Nikolaos Kontaros and Georgios Agathos. In some cases, it has been claimed that Dimitri Semelas alone, founded the OL+E and not Marie.}
"Now religious people do not have, in general, a clue as to what Dea is. In the extreme, Protestants don't accept Mary {the mother of Christ} as they only recognise Jesus Christ. In other words, they cannot overcome their masculine mentality. Even the Mediterranean mentality says that Mary was just a good girl and it was for this reason only that she was selected as the mother of Christ. But the instinct of the people about the subject is different. They consider Mary a saint, even the Muslims revere Mary."
Thoughts about the Order
"If you wish to promote the Order you cannot use the usual means. In other words, how one runs one's personal life and one's business life. So, for instance, the Order should not be advertising in the newspaper or magazine."
"If you wish to promote the Order, as the Order is an Institution of high Morality, the person who is promoting the Order should also have a high level of Morality."
GG said, "... in my opinion, the cause of the failure of the Order, the splits and the various collapses of the Order, is because the people involved wanted to give and take the affairs of the Order in exactly in the same manner that they carried out the affairs and activities of their profane life. Actually, we should be bringing the good practice from the Order into our daily life, not the other way round."
" For instance, Pangrati owns a 6 storey building in Pangrati built from the donations of its members. But this is all wrong as the Order should not own anything. This all wrong."
"Don't mix the profane life with the sacred life of the Order. The Order of the Lily and the Eagle does not exist if it is a profane institution that is repeating the habitual {'bad'} behaviour of the people."
"So why delude ourselves. The Order does not exist if it does not adhere to the method and manner as proscribed, using a strict morality."
The Masons and the OL+E
"One cannot be an initiator whilst being a mason."
"It is wrong and pointless to take the theorems into the lodges of the Masons. Doing this we cannot spread the 'Teaching' in this manner. This is in spite of the argument that these individuals were making to me in Athens. Indeed, the theorems are given in the masonic lodges in Athens. If it were simply a matter of spreading the 'Teaching', all we would need to do is to make the Teaching available in print or on the internet and be done with it. We can only spread the Teaching if we have a scope."
"So why can't a mason be an initiator of the Order?"
"We have to ask if the scope of the masons' corresponds with the scope of the Order? The answer is that the two scopes are completely different."
"With the Teaching of the Order, we actually have the tools to reach perfectionment, but in order to do so we require the consent of the individual. It is at the 15th theorem the person must choose to join the Order or not. There can be no 'in-between' and once they have given their word {taken the oath}, the person should then keep to it. Otherwise, we should not give such a sacred commitment. If we give our word and act in a contrary manner we become, inadvertently, an agent for the adversary."
"Now the Masons are making a secret oath, in which they are obliged not to tell to the others what it is. So, where can there be the trust?"
"This is why there is an issue with the masons because they will never reveal
this secret oath. Compare this to the OL+E. There is no prohibition in the
OL+E - indeed, Dea stated
Who was Dea?
"In comparison to Deon, Dea was not well known. She was born in Odessa of Jewish parents. The Russian pogroms drove her family to France. The family was 2 or 3 sisters, Dea and the parents."
"Marie as she was called, was one of the first women to study at the Sorbonne university in Paris. This was when she was about 18 years old, around 1903."
"Eventually, Marie met Dupré and they married. Dupré had a particular interest in occult science which Dea shared, and because of that, they both went to Egypt to study there. At this time Dea had a child and Dupré was making a living working for the French government in Egypt."
"Dupré was also attending the Martinist Lodge in Cairo and there, in 1910,
he met with Deon. Deon was a member of the Martinists at that time. After
that meeting, Dupré went home to Dea and said to her
"However, it seems that there was also a chance meeting on the streets of Cairo, prior to that."
"Anyhow, Dea was a very devoted person and, according to what she said and wrote, she received the revelation of the Word, and was given the mandate to found the Order of the Lily and the Eagle. The revelation of the Word is our Lord and the opening of the various ceremonies of the OL+E speak about Dea receiving the revelation of the Word."
"To make such a claim is very significant and should not be taken lightly. It would be sacrilege to make such a claim if it were not true."
"In January 1915, based on the revelation of the Word, she founded the Order of the Lily and the Eagle. After that she gave the 36 theorems and her doctrine. There were 5 people at the founding of the Order in Cairo. At the ceremony of founding, she spoke on the previous foundations of the Order."
{I assume here that Dupre had been mobilized by the French for WWI and was not present.}
"After that she and Dupré returned to Paris and she wrote the Epistle to the Commanders in Egypt. She died in 1918."
"Deon who was the co-founder and assistant at the founding of the Order, also gave a complementary teaching to that of Dea. Deon died 6 years later in August 1925."
"Dupre took over the leadership of the OL+E after the death of Deon and on the death of Dupre in 1944, Agathos become the Master Commander of the OL+E in 1945."
{Note the change from the dual female and male leadership of the OL+E - the Sovereign Grand Commanders under Dea, to the Master Commander leadership as decreed by Deon and maintained by Dupre and Agathos. Agathos decreed the return to the sovereign dual female and male leadership of the OL+E in his Manifesto No. 2.}
GG said "... that Papus was connected to Sémélas in some way, as they recognized one another when they met. It seems that Papus was giant from the 'spiritual family'. Sémélas was told {by the invisible} to make a contact with Papus at the time when he was living in Athens. Sémélas ended up going to Cairo to the Martinist lodge there, as he was short of money and Cairo was easier to travel to from Athens at that time. Papus also made that suggestion that he travel to Cairo. Sémélas, for some time, thought that his purpose in his life was to work with the Martinists. Later on, he also thought that he should take over from Papus after his death."
"Anyhow, Papus created the Order of the Martinists. When Papus died in 1916, the people who made up Martinists did not accept Sémélas as their leader. Deon had the power to impose himself on the Martinists but chose not to as it was not in his nature to do so. Deon left the Martinists and subsequently, the Martinists split and divided into 3 parts. All 3 of these groups have become, more or less in these days {early 2000}, a publishing house for the works and books of Papus. In other words, the true initiation by the Martinists has been lost."
"Now Deon had given his word to Dea that he would ensure that the OL+E did not disappear. When he left the Martinists, he then focused his attention on the OL+E."
"Now true initiation has always been maintained and spread by certain individuals throughout the ages. This is always happening. It seems that the 'invisible' is not using just one way only to enervate the material realm and to 'evolve' humanity and creation."
"Deon gave some 152 theorems and some images to be given to Martinists who were welcomed into the Order of the Lily and the Eagle. That is, he set up a section in the OL+E, for those who left the Martinists due the schisms that occurred after the death of Papus; this was to propagate Wisdom. This work of Wisdom was also incorporated into the works of the OL+E. However, the work of the OL+E is focusing on the propagation of Love."

Unity and re-uniting the various groups of the Order
With regard to the attempts to unite or re-unite the various formations, I
made a decree that
{GG spent 20 or more years in trying to unify the various groups of the OL+E, or at the very least, to have the various group collaborate one with the other. All those attempts failed completely.}
"If we consider uniting with the other formations, we know that Daphni has their own Sovereign Grand Commander who is Henri in France. From what I know, it seems that Henri is a mason - a practicing and active mason. If he is, then he cannot be in the Order - this is because the scope of a Mason is the Masons. That is, to maintain, keep and protect the Masons. In contrast, the scope and the aim of the Order is humanity as a whole, not just the Masons. So Agriopoulos, the Commander in control of Daphni, is under a particular S.G.C. and to unite with Daphni would require that Attica recognizes this S.G.C. This in turn would mean that we lose our autonomy. In Pangrati, there are a number of people who are masons of the highest degree - 31st or 32nd. They are taking the Teaching of the Order to use in the masonic lodges. What we can say is, it is obvious that the Teaching of the Order is superior to their own teaching!"
GG mentioned in an aside that these Masons had said to him, "... what is the problem in giving the theorems in the lodges of the Masons? Surely it is spreading the teaching?" To this GG answered, "... But what is your scope? What is your purpose? In the Order we give the theorems to help humanity, not to help the Order."
"Anyway, for Pangrati, Prokopiou is their S.G.C. so union with Pangrati
would mean a dilution of the purity of the formation of Attica. Remember
that the aim of Attica was and is to return the Order to its original
state before all sorts of alien things entered into the situation." GG
said that Andreas Prokopiou had written to him saying
{He showed me the letter that he received from Andreas Prokopiou.}
{GG also issued a decree to Attica saying, "... It is clear that as the General Governor of Attica, will not agree to any union with any other formation. Further, any connection or agreement with any other group is only in the scope and discretions of the General Governor and no one else".}
{It seems that at that time, there were attempts to unite Attica in Athens with Pangrati, without his say so.}
"Regarding Katzamanis, who is currently making all sorts of orders and random decrees, I cannot understand why this man is so attractive to people. Katzamanis claimed to be the real Deon and his wife the real Dea. All this is hopeless. It is hopeless to mix with people who have neither a program nor a directive."
"Hopefully, Attica will manage to salvage something. As Dupré wrote, to keep the purity of the Teaching and try to be united. This is what Attica has done - to return to the strict obedience to the rules and regulations and to get rid of any 'additions' that others have made to the teaching. In other words, a return to the teaching without any mixture."
"There is an important point here."
"What each formation is really 'demanding' is the submission of other individuals and groups under them. The OL+E does not represent a new religion or a spiritual church. It is a practical way, a practical association that Dea chose to propagate Her teaching. Having said that, it does not seem to be the case that this 'propagation' has been particularly successfully."
History of the third manifestation of the OL+E
"In 1910, Deon went to Egypt. When he was there, he met Dea and her husband Dupré. In the texts it says that Dupré and then Dea recognized Deon as their master."
"According to Agathos, prior to that time, when Deon was still in Athens, he was asking 'the invisible' what he should do. He was told to contact Papus who in turn told Deon to contact the representative of the Martinists in Cairo. Deon went there and saw that the Martinist representative was not an upright individual as he was open to bribery and was 'selling' certificates to those who would pay. So Deon wrote a report to Papus who then sent an inspector to confirm what Deon was saying. This Martinist representative in Cairo was then expelled from the Martinists."
"Under the Aegis of the Martinists, Deon formed the Lodge of the Essenes in Cairo and started to give some lectures on Alchemy and Magic. Dupré was the secretary." I asked him "... how was Semelas able to do that?" GG replied, "... do not forget, Deon already had the initiation of the Rose+Cross {Brethren of the East}."
"Eventually Semelas met Marie, and for one year they were going to the pyramids, the smallest one of Mykirinos, and they gave us 20 or 25 accounts from ancient Egypt {Astral Cliches}".
"One day they met a Sufi priest {identified as Faion} a master initiator who had 72 pupils with him. They met out in the desert near the pyramids. This was 3 years before the death of Dea. After the sign of a circulating eagle above her, Dea told Deon her program to re-establish the OL+E. She asked Deon to promise that he would complete her work if she did not have the time. Deon was a Rosicrucian so he took Dea to Athens where Dea was consecrated by Eli Marius and she became a Rosicrucian under the male name 'Marius' in the chapel of Lycabettus. She returned to Egypt with Deon and then founded the OL+E having received the approval to found the OL+E from the 'Brethren of the East' and as noted above, from Faion. Eli Marius died shortly after the consecration of 'Marius' having completed his designated work and Deon then became the "Guardian of the Rosicrucians". When Deon died in 1924, he was buried according to the Rosicrucian tradition."
{Note that the Rose+Cross prohibited membership to women.}
"We do not know who Deon gave this guardianship to when he died, although many have 'claimed' that for themselves. If Agathos did not know - who was very close to Deon, it is very unlikely that it was handed to someone who would openly declare it. The mandate of the 'Brethren of the East' is very different from other esoteric groups and formations."
"In 1916, Dea and Deon went to Paris where they started the activities of
the OL+E there. Papus died and passed the Martinists to Teder (who was mainly
a mason). Deon proposed a reformation of the Martinists and gave around 152
theorems and 6 Arcanes to show the teaching of the Martinists
{Saint-Martin}. He also made a Martinists constitution.
The Martinists, after the death of Papus, divided into 3 parts: Phillip his
son, Filermos a pupil of Papus. I do not recall the details for the
3rd group. So, in the Order of the Lily and Eagle we have the
constitution for
I then asked GG, "... so why do we have these texts GG, what is the purpose now?" In response GG said that "... we have examples of other initiations so our commanders and officers have other examples of how initiation is or was done in the past in other traditions. We do not give R+C and Martinist degrees."
"Dea's teaching is the education of MAN. Deon's teaching is wisdom and a deeper education."
"The Theosophical and Philosophical teaching of Dea was coming {was channelled} through Rea. This describes the divine world and her doctrine gives the structure of Pan {the everything} - both visible and invisible."
"After the death of Dea in 1918, Deon re-organized the constitution of the OL+E."
"In 1920 Deon and Dupre went to Cairo for health reasons - Deon had TB.
Agathos returned to Cairo in 1919 after the demobilizing of the Greek army
after the First World War. When Deon returned, he was saying to Deon that
we need more time.
"It was during this time that our Lord was taking the place of Deon in his
body - due to the physical pain of TB. On a few occasions when they were going
to the room where the activities of the OL+E were being carried out in Cairo,
Deon walked past the door on the way up the staircase, past where the meeting
room was. Agathos called to him to come back and Deon was laughing. Also, in
the evening, Agathos was speaking with this different entity during the
evening. Deon was staying at the house of Agathos and Agathos was writing down
all this wisdom. The next day, with Deon back in his body, Deon at the front
of the college was saying to Agathos,
GG said to me that, "... Agathos use to say to us «... how can you believe what I am saying to you? I saw these things and you cannot imagine the wisdom which was pouring out of Deon. » ". I asked GG how the group of adherents answered this question of Agathos. He answered "... we said nothing." I pushed him and said why not, and how would you answer this question now? He answered, "... Agathos was formidable so we did not want to speak up. But to answer his question now, it was because we saw Agathos in front of us, that's why we believed what he was saying."
"Anyway, after Deon's death in 1925 Dupré took over the Order and when he died in 1944 Agathos replaced him. Both Master Commanders - Dupre and Agathos - were selected by Deon to follow him."
"There was a D-Day bombing raid in northern France in 1944, and a stray bomb made a direct hit on Dupre in the street and he was completely vaporized. Only the ring and the finger on which it was placed remained. From that the authorities were able to identify who had been killed."
{Recent research on this topic has shown that there was a bombing raid by the American Airforce on the Epernon railway station, and some of the bombs were released early, west of the target railway station bridge. A grave for Eugene Dupre has been found in the Knutt family vaults a few kilometres from the tomb of Dean and Dea.}
"Before his death, Dupré had nominated Agathos to take over the OL+E, in accordance with Deon's choice. Agathos did not wish to take over as he did not believe he was fit to do so, but nevertheless he did so as there was no one else able to do this job. Shortly after that, he and the small group of OL+E Greek members in Cairo tried to go back to Greece as the activity in Egypt had stopped {or they could see that they would be expelled from Egypt}."
{Mr George eventually moved his family back to Athens in 1956 with Agathos coming to Athens a few months later.}
"The Athens college - the activities in Pangrati was started prior to the arrival of the Egyptian group. When Agathos returned to Athens he tried to reorganize the OL+E in Athens and in doing so, he founded the Pangrati commandery. However, the man who had originally started the OL+E group in Athens, had great difficulties when he first arrived in Athens years earlier. He had got into financial difficulties and was helped by some Masons. This fact was the cause of some of the later difficulties as this man was obligated" to the masons."
"In the meantime, in Paris, the OL+E activity had split into two groups. Agathos went to Paris in 1955/7 in an attempt to reconcile the two groups. In the end he was unable to resolve the situation so he gave one group the mandate to continue the official work of the Order - initiation and so on, while the other group was allowed to continue their private work, but was not allowed to carry out any initiations."
"While in Paris, he was also trying to find someone with the requisite qualities in Paris to replace him as leader of the Order, as there was no one suitable in Athens. There was one man in Paris, but Agathos decided that he was not suitable for the task. In the end, Agathos decided to choose the oldest member of the OL+E in Athens to become the male S.G.C. with Madeleine in Paris as the female male S.G.C. See the Manifesto No. 2."
{There is a distinction between the sovereign commanders - female and male, and the supreme commanders - female and male. To clarify we can say that a king or queen are sovereigns and as such, they represent the 'supreme being' here on Earth. So, we had George Gouletas and Madeleine Wiell as the sovereign grand commanders whilst in the invisible, Dea and Deon remain the supreme commanders of the OL+E.}
"In 1957 Agathos died and things began to fall apart. When Agathos put Gouletas with Madeleine he also put one of his daughters, Marika, as the commander of Pangrati." {Here we can say that GG was demonstrating the distinction between the commanders of the College and the Pangrati administration.}
"Now Gouletas was a humble man, but he did not have the capacities of a S.G.C. and he therefore was offered help by Haliotis. Haloitos had some friction with a man called Giakoumatos, who was closely linked to Madeleine."
"So, the new structure in Athens became Marika with Haliotis {that is, the commandery leaders}. In Paris there was Madeleine with Giakomatos close by with her. In other words, Giakomatos did not have an official role."
"40 days after the death of Agathos, a man called Hasapis, who was an astronomer at the observatory in Athens, approached Haliotis along with a young lady. The young lady said she was the incarnation of Dea and Hasapis seemed to have an understanding of Astrosophy. The heads of the Order - Gouletas and Haliotis - saw this as a sign and they gave the control of the OL+E to Hasapis. What eventually came to light was that a neighbour near where Hasapis was living, was in the Order and had handed over the Astrosophy documents to Hasapis. This allowed Hasapis to give the impression that he was the new Deon."
"Anyway, Pangrati accepted Hasapis to take over the OL+E and he then suspended
all activities of the Order so that he could,
"Then Gouletas made a decree to expel Madeleine. In other words, a council of Haliotis, Hasapis and Gouletas decided to expel Madeleine out of the Order."
At this point GG said "... this was completely wrong. They did not have the right to do that." {See the Rules and Regulations of the Order.}
"Based on that, those who were protesting, distanced themselves from Pangrati, but continued their work of the OL+E - the work of initiation of their adherents. No one, the heads of the Order or the Initiators have the right to suspend the work of initiation of adherents. So there was no reason for this work to stop."
"Now the group in Agathoupoleos decided to recognise Madeleine as their head. Accordingly, Pangrati expelled them."
"So now the situation was in Paris, Madeleine with Robert Weill and in Pangrati Gouletas with the wife of Haliotis, Bassilia."
"Under Paris was Agathoupoleos which eventually became Daphni. Giakomatos became their head and they mainly went for numbers. Apparently, they have some 2000 members, but the membership is unstable."
{Giakomatos tried to force GG to take over a college but he declined to do so. }
Half a year later he received a letter from Giakomatos saying "... we accept your resignation". Mr George laughed, "... my dear, I never sent a letter". Later on, Mr George was reinstated.
"Anyhow, I continued my work of initiation, but kept my distance from all these troubles."
{At the same time, Giakomatos wrote a letter to GG that said that Michalidis has has allowed him - gave him permission to GG - to make his own activity under the aegis of the Daphni group.}
"This 'troubled' state of affairs remained until 1982 to 1983."
{Now during this period up to the mid-1970s, Mr George had managed to start making some lecture in central Athens on a weekly basis to a small group of people. This was informal and was not done in the name of the OL+E. But of course, it was based on the teaching of the Order - the theorems were his guide.}
{Additionally, this was the period of the colonels in Greece, 1967 to 1974. The colonels allowed the OL+E to continue its activities, but the then head of the OL+E in Athens, chose not to front the Order with the junta and asked GG to do so. He took on this task, but he admitted that it was a particularly stressful period for him. Additionally he was also earning a living for his family as a chemical engineer. He stated that he did not understand how the OL+E was allowed to continue its activities, but he did say, "... the junta did change the aim of education in Greece so that teacher was directed to develop the personality of the children in their care."}
{Prior to 1983, Mr George decided to take early retirement and go to Britain. This was because his eldest son was going to university there, and corresponded with his belief - which he had from very early - that he would do something in Britain for the Order.}
"There is very fertile ground in Britain" he would say, "... but I did not want to leave this group in central Athens completely on their own. There were some 30 to 35 people, so I asked Christophidis to continue working with them."
"Meanwhile in Britain, with my wife and children, I bought a corner shop in Scotland and was trying to interest people in the Order. Back in Athens, in my absence, things were not going so well with the group that I had left with Christophidis. In 1981 they phoned me to asked me to come back because they were in a mess."
"I travelled with my wife to Athens that Christmas and we had talks with
various people. I said to them that if they wanted me to be their leader
then we must do everything correctly. We must restart the work of initiation
and so on. The reply was
"3 months later they agreed to my conditions and in 1983 the commandery of Attica was founded on the 6th of June 1983. The wife of Michalidis made the decree."
"After this founding, 3 or 4 year later, 30 to 35 people from Pangrati
came to me and said that it was time to re-unity the Order. I replied
"I asked them to give their decision what they wanted to do after 3 months. After a few months, along with Marika and Christopidis, they decided to join Attica."

{GG pointed out that even if Deon or Dea did indeed present themselves to
the Order, they would still be obliged to cover the 36 theorems and
according to the Rules and Regulation, could not complete that work less
than

At a later time, he said "... let us be honest, if we do not do the proper work of the OL+E, we do not have an Order."
